It is thought that those two smartphones will be an improved version of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (code-named Blanc) and the Huawei Mate 10 Lite (not confirmed yet), an entry-level version of the Huawei Mate 10 also known as Alps. The beta update will not have support for full features for the device. 250 applicants will be accommodated to register to test the Android Oreo Beta update.
For most of us, the price of a smartphone is perhaps the most important factor when considering a new smartphone. For the beta program, you have to first download the Beta Friendly User Test app from the Huawei's official website.
Users that did not possess a Huawei ID would not be eligible for the Android Oreo update either.
The beta program will end on November 3, after which Huawei will likely put finishing touches to the software and release it.
After getting a lot of leaks and rumors, Huawei has silently kicked off a new Android 8.0 Oreo Beta program for the popular Huawei Mate 9 Smartphone.
That being said, it won't have a bezel-less or a full-screen display which maybe comes as something of a surprise although maybe this is because these are available on the Mate Pro. Also, the smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Kirin 659 processor. All of these phones will probably ship with at least 6GB of RAM, and you can also expect to see rear-facing fingerprint scanners on all of them.
While the previous rumours suggested that the Mate 10 could come with a dual camera set up with 20MP+13MP sensors, the leaked poster suggests that the phone will come with Leica's 20MP+ 23MP dual camera set up. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording capabilities. Huawei also tweeted a teaser video with the caption "That feeling when your battery lasts all day on a single charge", revealing the 4,000 mAh battery.
